Mud Manor Rainforest Retreat is located in the Community of Rosebank in the Byron Bay Hinterland. The Retreat is is a two storey guest house and multi media studio, located in a beautiful bushland setting. With a choice of two large guest rooms, each with a private entrance, en-suite and a/c. Mud Manor is the ideal getaway. The Retreat has been hand built using mud brick and the furniture has been fashioned from local timbers to suit the rustic rainforest style. Tropical gardens surround the pool and the cabana providing the perfect setting to view the wildlife while sipping on your favourite wine. The wildlife can also be seen from the expansive decks of your tree top room. The surrounding forest and magical valley views contain a diverse range of animals including koalas, echidnas, wallabies, pademelons and many rainforest bird species. It is a true wilderness retreat and a bird-watchers paradise.

Our newest accommodation to the area Imogen’s Farmstay provides an organic experience with B & B rooms from $110–150 per night. Also available are farm-grown wines, a fully equipped commercial kitchen, Rainforest walks, lots of wildlife, including platypus and wallabies, farm tours, walks & kids activities.
We welcome families, couples, singles, pets (by arrangement) and event bookings. Imogen’s makes all wines on the property using traditional grape varieties such as the chambourcin grapes which are grown on the property.

The Wren’s Rest is located on the Minyon Scenic Drive (Minyon Falls Road) only minutes from the top of Minyon Falls and 30 mins from Lismore and Byron. You can have lunch/dinner and a cuppa on the verandah overlooking the stunning valley located below. Catch glimpses of Quandong Falls while you watch the sun set over the Minyon hills. The Wren’s Rest Gallery and gardens feature abstract bronze statues and sculptures by local artist Brett Harrison Allen of the Corndale Art Foundry.
The fine food is served by our gifted chef Robert, who’s delicious home made Pecan Pie is to die for. The cafe is open Fridays & Saturdays 11am to 10pm and Sundays 11am to 4pm, School holidays - Wednesday & Thursday 10.30am to 3pm. BYO.
