The tiny Hamlet of Rosebank is located in the picturesque foothills adjoining the World Heritage Nightcap National Park rainforests and the Whian Whian State Conservation Area. These amazing forests lie just to the north of Rosebank while farming and lifestyle blocks are the areas main features. Rosebank has a population of approximately 800 people.
Rosebank lies within an area known as the MacPherson-Macleay Overlay. This is where the Tropical and Temperate Zones of the east coast overlap — the only place where this occurs in Australia. The importance of this overlap is that it provides a bridge of biodiversity between the north and south rainforests of Australia and the wildlife associated with them. The Rosebank Community is proud of the amazing array of wildlife that share their lifestyles and they make the most of the sub tropical climate to grow wonderful gardens, veggie patches and orchards.
